Welcome to Northstar Montessori Preschool
Northstar Montessori, under the direction of Tami Elliott, has been providing quality care for children in the Saline area for over 18 years. At our location on West Russell Street, we provide a safe, loving, home like environment for children to learn and grow using the Montessori method.
Our families include children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. We are an independently owned and operated business, whose number one priority is the success of your child.

After School Hours
3:00 pm-5:00 pm
The children we serve are ages 6 weeks to 6 years.
Our Programs
- Infant/Nido: from 6 weeks to approximately 18 months
- Toddler/Pre-primary: from approximately 18 months to just under 3 years
- Preschool/Primary: 3 years to 6 years
- Before and After School Care: from 6 weeks to 6 years
- Summer Camps: children who have completed Young 5s, K, or 1st grades

Families who wish to enroll at Northstar Montessori must complete the following steps:
- Register Your Child/ren on the Waitlist
- Schedule a Tour
- Complete the Registration Forms
- Provide Health Appraisal and Vaccination forms

Northstar families are invited to join us for our Spring School Spruce Up Day!
Put on your outdoor working clothes, grab a pair of work gloves, and come help us tidy up the school as we tend to our annual spring cleaning and projects around the grounds and building.
Come for the whole morning or just part of the day as your schedule allows. Children are welcome to tag along and help with School Spruce Up Day. A light brunch will be available.
Please RSVP HERE so we can make sure to have enough supplies and refreshments. Please note, this is NOT a drop off event--each child attendee must be accompanied by an adult.

You are cordially invited to Northstar Montessori's Spring Preschool Program and Graduation!
Please join us June 10th, 11am at the Saline Middle School Cafeteria (7190 N Maple Rd, Saline, MI 48176) as we celebrate our students and say “Congratulations!” to those graduating on to kindergarten in the fall. Each preschool class will be performing a song or skit as part of the day’s program. Graduating students will process across the stage and receive certificates. Each family is asked to bring a food item to share for the reception that will follow our program.
