Welcome to Northstar Montessori Preschool
Northstar Montessori, under the direction of Tami Elliott, has been providing quality care for children in the Saline area for over 18 years. At our location on West Russell Street, we provide a safe, loving, home like environment for children to learn and grow using the Montessori method.
Our families include children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. We are an independently owned and operated business, whose number one priority is the success of your child.

7:00 am-5:30 pm Monday-Friday
After School Hours
3:00 pm-5:30 pm
The children we serve are ages 6 weeks to 6 years.
Our Programs
- Infant/Nido: from 6 weeks to approximately 18 months
- Toddler/Pre-primary: from approximately 18 months to just under 3 years
- Preschool/Primary: 3 years to 6 years
- Before and After School Care: from 6 weeks to 6 years
- Summer Camps: children who have completed Young 5s, K, or 1st grades
New Family Enrollment Information
Families who wish to enroll at Northstar Montessori must complete the following steps:
- Register Your Child/ren on the Waitlist
- Schedule a Tour
- Complete the Registration Forms
- Provide Health Appraisal and Vaccination forms

You are cordially invited to Northstar Montessori's Spring Preschool Program and Graduation! Please join us June 8th, 11am at the Liberty School Auditorium as we celebrate our preschool students and say “Congratulations!” to those going on to kindergarten in the fall. Each preschool class will be performing a song or skit as part of the day’s program. Graduating students will process across the stage and receive certificates. Each family is asked to bring a food item to share for the reception that will follow our program.
