Welcome to Northstar Montessori Preschool
Northstar Montessori, under the direction of Tami Elliott, has been providing quality care for children in the Saline area for over 18 years. At our location on West Russell Street, we provide a safe, loving, home like environment for children to learn and grow using the Montessori method.
Our families include children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. We are an independently owned and operated business, whose number one priority is the success of your child.

After School Hours
3:00 pm-5:30 pm
The children we serve are ages 6 weeks to 6 years.
Our Programs
- Infant/Nido: from 6 weeks to approximately 18 months
- Toddler/Pre-primary: from approximately 18 months to just under 3 years
- Preschool/Primary: 3 years to 6 years
- Before and After School Care: from 6 weeks to 6 years
- Summer Camps: children who have completed Young 5s, K, or 1st grades
New Family Enrollment Information
Families who wish to enroll at Northstar Montessori must complete the following steps:
- Register Your Child/ren on the Waitlist
- Schedule a Tour
- Complete the Registration Forms
- Provide Health Appraisal and Vaccination forms

Please sign your child(ren) up for December 29-31, 2025 (Monday & Tuesday 7am-5:30pm, Wednesday 7am-3pm ) and January 2, 2025 (Friday 7am-5:30pm) Child Care only.***We are closed Thursday, January 1st for the New Year holiday.***
Please Note: On December 31st, we will be closing at 3 pm.
You must sign up by December 15th, 2025 if your child will need care on any of these No School Days.
